New Botanica

This body of work marks a shift for me. After years of painting representational portraits, I’ve begun to step away from the visible world and into one that feels more like my own interior terrain. These worlds are damp, fertile, and full of mystery. Sometimes figures appear, but more often I’m drawn to caverns, hollows, and hidden groves; spaces to crawl into, to rest, to dream.

I’m interested in what pulses beneath the surface and what grows in the dark, what endures beyond the reach of language.
